The STAT-C8 is the first carbon fiber wing specifically designed for the C8 Corvette Coupe. Inspired by the C8.R racing cars, the STAT-C8 brings styling and aggressiveness, which blend perfectly together with any C8 Corvette.

The 70" carbon fiber airfoil is light yet strong, providing superior performance on the road, highway, or racetrack. The aluminum endbells are the perfect size and shape to help provide downforce, while reducing drag. The aircraft-grade aluminum used can be painted, wrapped, or even powder-coated to provide a durable accent finish to your C8. Three different attack angles are available from nearly flat to aggressive.
 
Oversized foot pads combined with 1/2" billet aluminum support arms provide a rock-solid foundation to support the wing and minimize vibrations. A custom structural reinforcement plate is inserted into the inner cavity on the inside of the decklid to provide additional support and rigidity for the high-strength stainless steel bolts to lock into. This mounting system forms the basis of the STAT-C8 and is track-tested up to 140mph, performing flawlessly and without any damage to the C8’s rear deck.
 
Installation is simple.
Step 1: Peel the backing off the double-sided tape on the reinforcement plate.
Step 2: Stick the reinforcement plate into place inside the cavity of the rear deck inside the trunk.
Step 3: Drill using the holes on the reinforcement plate. No measuring is needed.
Step 4. Bolt the support arms into place with the bolts and nuts provided.
Step 5. Attach the wing and adjust the attack angle.
 
Deck mounting the STAT-C8 provides the best performance and ease of use. Because the wing is mounted on the rear decklid, access to the trunk of the C8 is easy. No more having to work around the stock low or high wing. Optional rear-decklid struts are available, which will allow the decklid to open and stay up, even with the additional weight of the wing. (Please note it was not possible for us to utilize the stock wing mounting locations as the support available in that area is insufficient for this purpose.)
 
The height of the STAT-C8 is similar to the C8.R as well as the C7 ZR1. The placement is where it is the most efficient aerodynamically, while being high enough to not obstruct the view from the rearview mirror / camera. This is an important safety feature, making the STAT-C8 functional and user friendly. In addition, the STAT-C8 will clear the factory Z51 and High Wing, so removal of these factory parts are optional.
